Relax and enjoy the Mediterranean at El Kantaui Port, a tourist complex and beach resort offering year-round sunshine in modern village-style surroundings. Built in 1979 as a tourist center around a large artificial harbor, the complex has many narrow cobbled streets, arches, and buildings inspired by traditional architecture--all of which give the cozy village a laid-back charm. Soft sandy beaches with a sparkling, clean sea and a variety of entertainment facilities, including an adjacent amusement park, cater to a range of tastes. A popular yachting and golfing destination, the port includes hundreds of berths for luxury yachts and a 36-hole championship golf course. Boating trips and various water sports rank high on the agenda, and an abundance of restaurants serve local and international cuisine. El Kantaui Port Reviews
Nothing really special about the port, much like any other Mediterranean harbour. Admittedly we were there out of season and there was very few people around. more »

In one of them I tried traditional Tunisian tea with pine nuts and mint, very tasty, unusual and for only 5 dinars. And on the square there is a large food store with a wine department.
A very nice little port. Looks neat and clean compared to other places nearby. You have some restaurants and souvenir shops there. Especially in the evening it's beautiful with all the lights. A little zoo is nearby but I didn't dare to go, the animals you saw from the outside are pitifully to look at.
Lovely area. Very clean and lots of bars shops and restaurants. Only issue is the amount of pressure they put on you to go in to their shops. Even if you are having a nice walk they practically pull you in.
