Sao Paulo, Brazil to Nagoya is an approximately 31-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Brasilia Time (BRT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 12 hours. While traveling from Sao Paulo, expect cooler days and little chillier nights in Nagoya, ranging from highs of 16°C to lows of 11°C. You will leave for Hiroshima on the 7th (Thu).

Start off your visit on the 7th (Thu): contemplate the long history of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Keep things going the next day: examine the collection at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and then explore the historical opulence of Hiroshima Castle.

Take a train from Nagoya to Hiroshima in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or drive. When traveling from Nagoya in November, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Hiroshima: temperatures range from 20°C by day to 11°C at night. You will leave for Shimonoseki on the 9th (Sat).

A bustling port town noted as the site of two major battles in Japan's history, Shimonoseki also attracts gourmands as the world capital of the potentially poisonous pufferfish, or fugu--prepared only by licensed chefs and considered a delicacy.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Sat): observe the fascinating underwater world at Kaikyokan, then take in the views from Kanmon Bridge, then don't miss a visit to Kanmon Tunnel for Humans (Shimonoseki Side), and finally snap pictures at Tsunoshimao Bridge. On the 10th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Kozanji Temple, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Akama Shrine, then take in panoramic vistas at Akiyoshidai Karst Observatory, and finally Head underground at Akiyoshido.

Getting from Hiroshima to Shimonoseki by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and train. In November, daily temperatures in Shimonoseki can reach 19°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Okayama.
