Moab

The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Tue): stroll through Bike Fiend, thenrelax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and then see Off-Road Tours. Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
Step off the beaten path and head to Laura: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site and Lafayette Cemetery No.1. Get a sense of the local culture at The National WWII Museum and Jackson Square. Take a break from New Orleans with a short trip to Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, about 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Garden District, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Louis Cathedral, visit Frenchmen Street, and stop by Faulkner House Books.
