Change things up with these side-trips from Canterbury: Leeds Castle (in Maidstone) and Playopolis Board Game Cafe (in Rochester). Dover is a town and major ferry port in the home county of Kent, in South East England. Start off your visit on the 19th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Crypt of St. Leonard, thenpause for some photo ops at Battle of Britain Memorial, thencontemplate the long history of Roman Painted House, and finally make a trip to Dover Castle.
