Zagreb boasts a combination of Austro-Hungarian and Socialist architecture, but it is beloved for its outdoor cafe culture.
Visit Trakoscan Castle (Dvor Trakoscan) and Old Castle (Stari Grad) for their historical value. Museum-lovers will get to explore Krapina Neanderthal Museum and Zagreb 80's Museum. Step out of Zagreb with an excursion to Staro selo museum in Kumrovec--about 1h 10 min away. The adventure continues: appreciate the extensive heritage of Upper Town (Gornji Grad) and don't miss a visit to King Tomislav Square.
