The medieval town of Bruges centers around a canal, and the architecture of its historical district has made it a World Heritage Site.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Belfry of Bruges and Historic Centre of Brugge. Shop till you drop at The Chocolate Line Bruges and Carpentier-Goegebeuer. Go for a jaunt from Bruges to Ghent to see Gravensteen about 50 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: sample the tasty concoctions at Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan, see the interesting displays at Choco-Story - The Chocolate Museum, steep yourself in history at Basilica of the Holy Blood, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Our Lady Bruges.
