Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
On the 25th (Thu), get a taste of the local shopping with Pike Place Market, thentest your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, thenget a taste of the local shopping with Chihuly Garden and Glass, and finally make a trip to Space Needle. On your second day here, explore the world behind art at Seattle Art Museum, thensee the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, and then kick back and relax at Alki Beach.

Pittsburgh to Seattle is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Pittsburgh to Seattle. A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Change things up with these side-trips from Portland: Multnomah Falls (in Bridal Veil), Schreiner's Iris Gardens (in Salem) and Willamette Valley Vineyards (in Turner). There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Portland Japanese Garden, sample some tasty brews at a beer tour and tasting, walk around Laurelhurst Park, and see the interesting displays at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
