You can drive from Miyoshi to Tokushima in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a train. Traveling from Miyoshi in July, expect nights in Tokushima to be about the same, around 29°C, while days are little chillier, around 32°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) so you can go by car to Takamatsu.
