8 days in Dubrovnik & Zagreb Itinerary

Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.

Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Dubrovnik: Cavtat (Cavtat Old Town & Cavtat Seaside Promenade). On the 13th (Sun), spend a thrilling day on the water with a speed boat tour. There's still lots to do: step off the mainland to explore Lokrum Island, wander the streets of Old Town, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Saint Blaise, and get engrossed in the history at War Photo Limited.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Dubrovnik is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. Traveling from Amsterdam in June, things will get somewhat warmer in Dubrovnik: highs are around 30°C and lows about 21°C. On the 15th (Tue), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Zagreb.
