Koktebel, formerly known as Planerskoye, is an urban-type settlement and one of the most popular resort townlets in South-Eastern Crimea. Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Solnechnaya Dolina. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Wed): learn about winemaking at Solnechnaya Dolina, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mountain Voloshin, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Golden Gate (Devil's Gate), and finally identify plant and animal life at Karadag Natural Reserve.

Simferopol to Koktebel is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train.
