A popular resort town on the Crimea peninsula, Yalta reveals a striking Neo-Gothic châteaux nestled high atop a steep sea cliff.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Sat): get to know the fascinating history of Lenin Embankment, then make a trip to Chekhov House & Museum, then take in panoramic vistas at Swallow's Nest, and finally get a new perspective on nature at Vorontsov Palace and Park complex. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de San Alexander Nevsky, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Immaculate Conception Cathedral - Organ Hall, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of Christ the Savior, then admire the striking features of Livadia Palace and Park Museum-Reserve, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.
