Hamilton

— 7 nights
Hamilton is the capital of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda. Venture out of the city with trips to Sandys Parish (National Museum of Bermuda & Bermuda Fun Golf) and St. George (Tobacco Bay, Bermuda National Trust Museum, &more). There's lots more to do: get to know the resident critters at Bermuda Aquarium, Natural History Museum & Zoo, kick back and relax at Elbow Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Horseshoe Bay Beach, and enjoy the sea views from Gibb's Hill Lighthouse.

To see reviews, where to stay, photos, and other tourist information, go to the Hamilton day trip planner.

Edmonton, Canada to Hamilton is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3 hours traveling from Edmonton to Hamilton. Traveling from Edmonton in October, things will get much hotter in Hamilton: highs are around 31°C and lows about 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.

The tropical "island" of Bermuda is actually a number of islands connected by road bridges and surrounded by numerous islets and cays. With access to everything from upscale resorts and quaint seaside inns, to tranquil pink-sand beaches and secluded snorkeling spots, a holiday in Bermuda appeals to most vacationers, regardless of age or budget. Although known as a place to relax, you'll find plenty of things to do in Bermuda. Partake in dynamic nightlife of the capital city, explore scenic hiking trails, or roam the narrow streets of St. George, the oldest British town in the New World.
