Baranavichy is a city in the Brest Region of western Belarus with a population (as of 1995) of 173,000. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Baranovichi Museum of Railway Equipment and Bison on Route Brest - Minsk. Explore Baranovichi's surroundings by going to Mir (Mir Castle & Chapel and Burial Vault Svyatopolk-Mirskikh), Kobryn (St. Peter and Paul Church, Temple of Alexander Nevsky, &more) and Nesvizh (City Hall in Nesvizh, Nesvizh Castle, &more). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some photo ops at Sparrow Monument, steep yourself in history at Nuseum-Estate of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, don't miss a visit to Kosava Castle, and pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Alexander Nevskiy.

If you are flying in from Sweden, the closest major aiport is Minsk National Airport. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
