Shurijo Castle and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Sefa-Utaki and The Tower of Himeyuri for their historical value. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Naha: Nakijin Castle Ruins (in Nakijin-son), Sangui (in Nanjo) and Motobu-cho (Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium & Okinawa Memorial Park Ocean Expo Park).
