Once a small fishing town, Yokohama was one of the first ports to welcome foreign trade in the 19th century, after which it grew into Japan's second largest city and a bustling metropolis.
You've added Mt. Takao, Machida Tenmangu Shrine, Yakushiike Park, and other attractions to your itinerary. There's lots more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Sankeien Gardens, laugh and play at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, make a trip to Yokohama Landmark Tower, and snap pictures at Yokohama Bay Bridge.

Situated on Kanagawa's Sagami Bay, the city of Fujisawa serves as the gateway to beaches on the small island of Enoshima, as well as the sandy coast and temples of nearby Kamakura.
