Catano

— 59 nights
Cataño is a municipality located on northern coast of Puerto Rico (U.S.) bordering the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to the north and east by San Juan; north of Bayamón and Guaynabo; east of Toa Baja and west of Guaynabo and is part of the San Juan Metropolitan Area. Relax by the water at Playa Crashboat and Pine Grove Beach. Popular historic sites such as Museo Castillo Serralles and Hacienda Buena Vista are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Catano: Aguadilla (Museo de Arte de Aguadilla y del Caribe, Survival Beach, &more), Isabela (Monumento al Cacique Mabodamaca, Ermita San Antonio De Padua De La Tuna, &more) and Camuy (Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy, Penon Amador Beach, &more). Spend the 26th (Tue) exploring nature at Reserva Natural de Humacao. Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Museo de Arte de Ponce, visit a coastal fixture at Faro de Punta Higuera, get a taste of the local shopping with Playa Oeste Gallery, and enjoy the sand and surf at Carolina Beach.

For where to stay, other places to visit, reviews, and tourist information, refer to the Catano trip itinerary builder.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiport is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. In October, daytime highs in Catano are 90°F, while nighttime lows are 78°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
