Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Escape the urban bustle at Little Beach and Greens Pool. Step off the beaten path and head to Middleton Beach and Elephant Rocks. Change things up with a short trip to Harewood Forest in Denmark (about 58 minutes away).
