You can drive from San Juan to Coamo in 1.5 hours. January in Coamo sees daily highs of 81°F and lows of 69°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to travel to Ponce.

Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. Your day-by-day itinerary now includes La Guancha. Kick off your visit on the 17th (Thu): identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Rosada, and then look for gifts at Plaza del Caribe. On the next day, explore and take pictures at La Guancha.
