On the 22nd (Sat), see the interesting displays at Museum of Oriental Ceramics, explore the historical opulence of Osaka Castle, then get engrossed in the history at Peace Osaka, and finally wander the streets of Dotonbori.

Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sun): step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, then get engrossed in the history at Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts Fureaikan, and finally make a trip to Gion. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and then get engrossed in the history at Namikawa Yasuyuki Sippo Memorial Museum.
