Lihue or Līhue is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) and the county seat of Kauai County, Hawaii. Relax by the water at Kalapaki Beach and Poipu Beach Park. Attractions like Helicopter Tours and Hanalei Beach make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Wai`oli Hui`ia Church (in Hanalei), Scuba & Snorkeling (in Eleele) and Waimea (Waimea Canyon State Park & Puu Hinahina Lookout). There's lots more to do: admire the sheer force of Wailua Falls, immerse yourself in nature at Na Pali Coast State Park, play a few rounds at Puakea Golf Course, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Tunnels Beach.
