Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Mon): make a trip to Trevi Fountain, then admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, and then delve into the distant past at Colosseum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 11th (Tue): explore the world behind art at Galleria Borghese, don't miss a visit to Piazza Navona, then steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, and finally contemplate the long history of Palatine Hill.
