Vienna
The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
Head to Vienna Naschmarkt and Graben and Kohlmarktfor plenty of shopping. Appreciate the collections at Belvedere Palace and Imperial Palace (Hofburg). Get out of town with these interesting Vienna side-trips: Melk Abbey (in Melk), Wachau Valley (in Joching) and Burgruine Landsee (in Landsee). Pack the 27th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Prater. Next up on the itinerary: take a stroll through Historic Center of Vienna, step into the grandiose world of Schonbrunn Palace, see the interesting displays at MuseumsQuartier Wien, and learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum).

If you are flying in from Philippines, the closest major airport is Vienna International Airport. June in Vienna sees daily highs of 29°C and lows of 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
