Take a break from the city and head to Kamegamori Forest and Kamegamori Road. Venture out of the city with trips to Imabari (Mt. Hiraki Viewing Platform, Hakata Beach, &more). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Central Shrine of Ishizuchi Jinja, get engrossed in the history at Railway History Park, don't miss a visit to Ishizuchi Shrine Jojusha, and take in the awesome beauty at Mt. Step off the beaten path and head to Taisanji Temple and Joruriji Temple. Visiting Nibukawa Valley and Futami Seaside Park Beach will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Matsuyama to Imabari to see Lake Tamagawa about 46 minutes away. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tsubaki Shrine, take a stroll through Botchan Hiroba, step off the mainland to explore Gogoshima Island, and don't miss a visit to Shinrokaku.
