Venture out of the city with trips to Yokan Museum (in Ogi), Dazaifu (Dazaifu Temmangu & Komyozen-ji Temple) and Kurume (Kurume Tsubaki Park, Cosmos Park Kitano, & more). Fly from Naha to Fukuoka in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Naha in February: highs in Fukuoka hover around 12°C, while lows dip to 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) to allow time to take a train to Hiroshima.
