You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Tue): take in the views from Szechenyi Chain Bridge, ponder the world of politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, contemplate the long history of Hősök tere, get to know the fascinating history of Janoshegy, then steep yourself in history at Matthias Church, and finally contemplate the long history of Halaszbastya.

The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
On the 5th (Wed), admire nature's wide array of creatures at Schönbrunn Zoo, then admire the landmark architecture of Schonbrunn Palace, and then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Stephen's Cathedral. Keep things going the next day: get in on the family fun at Prater and then admire the striking features of Belvedere Palace.
