The tiny but densely populated city of Male represents a contrast to the laid-back beach resorts found in much of the rest of the Maldives.
Step out of the city life by going to Artificial Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Hukuru Miskiiy (Old Friday Mosque) and Medhu Ziyaarath. Step out of Male to go to Vihamanafushi and see Veli Spa at Kurumba Maldives, which is approximately 44 minutes away.
