Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Escape the urban bustle at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Lake Powell. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Wire Pass Trail (Buckskin Gulch Access) and Lone Rock Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Page: Coyote Buttes (in Big Water) and Nautilus Rock (in Kanab).
