Once the most important harbor in the Mediterranean Sea, Genoa has a long history as a rich and powerful trade center in northern Italy.
On the 24th (Thu), make a trip to Piazza Raffaele De Ferrari and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cattedrale di San Lorenzo - Duomo di Genova. On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Baia del Silenzio, then take in the waterfront at Old Port, and then observe the fascinating underwater world at Aquarium of Genoa.

Zurich, Switzerland to Genoa is an approximately 5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus.
