Start off your visit on the 1st (Fri): see the interesting displays at Museum of Oriental Ceramics, then wander the streets of Dotonbori, then steep yourself in history at Todai-ji Temple, and finally identify plant and animal life at Nara Park. On your second day here, steep yourself in history at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and then make a trip to Gion.
