Russia's political, economic, and cultural center, Moscow remains the most populous inland city in the world, famed for its colorful history and rich architectural heritage.
Visiting The Moskva River and Park Novodevichi Prudy will get you outdoors. Head to Yeliseyevskiy and GUMfor some retail therapy. There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Red Square, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, admire the masterpieces at State Tretyakov Gallery, and learn about all things military at Armoury Chamber.
