Kick off your visit on the 30th (Thu): take in nature's colorful creations at Koko-en, step into the grandiose world of Himeji Castle, don't miss a visit to Shoshazan Engyoji, then contemplate the long history of Nishi no Maru, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Takamikura, and finally steep yourself in history at Yoneda Taishiji Temple. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of Jodoji Temple, trek along Mt Shosha hiking, and then stroll around Kunimi no Mori Park.
