You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Kashima Kaisuiyokujo and Mikasahama Beach. Visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Itsukushima Shrine for their historical value. Toronto, Canada to Hiroshima is an approximately 20-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, taxi, and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 14 hours traveling from Toronto to Hiroshima. Traveling from Toronto in July, things will get somewhat warmer in Hiroshima: highs are around 36°C and lows about 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Sun) to allow time to take a train to Shimonoseki.

A quiet castle town with a wealth of historic sites, Hagi draws visitors with its solid collection of traditional Japanese architecture.
Get a sense of the local culture at Yukawa Family Old Residence and Former House of Yamamura Family. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Mochiishi Seacoast and Kita-Nagato Coast.
