Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rome: Bocchignano Borgo Medievale (in Montopoli di Sabina), Sabine Hills (in Rieti) and Santuario San Giovanni Paolo II (in L'Aquila). And it doesn't end there: delve into the distant past at Pantheon, steep yourself in history at Colosseum, admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese, and admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain.
