Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
You'll get in some beach time at Nagamahama Beach Coast and Tomori Imugya Beach. Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse and Miyako Shrine are good opportunities to explore the local culture. The adventure continues: add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, visit a coastal fixture at Ikemashima Lighthouse, steep yourself in history at Uibya Mountain Site, and make a trip to Yamatoga.
