One of the oldest cities in the Baltic region, Tartu boasts heaps of cultural attractions, a quaint Old Town, and bustling main square.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to AHHAA Science Centre and Estonian Print & Paper Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Piusa River Ancient Valley Landscape Reserve (in Vastseliina), Emumagi Hill (in Rakke) and Ruins of the Viljandi Order Castle (in Viljandi). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Tartu Old City, examine the collection at Estonian National Museum, appreciate the history behind Sculpture Bronze Pig, and take in the views from Tartu Inglisild (Angel’s Bridge).

Stockholm, Sweden to Tartu is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Stockholm to Tartu due to the time zone difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Narva.
