Moscow, Russia to Tokyo is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Moscow Standard Time (MSK) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 6 hour difference. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Moscow in September, with highs in Tokyo at 32°C and lows at 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sun) so you can travel to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Explore hidden gems such as Yonaha Maehama Beach and Sunayama Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Aragusuku Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's much more to do: step off the mainland to explore Shimojiiima Island, contemplate the waterfront views at Toriike Pond, tour the pleasant surroundings at Boraga Limestone Cave, and snap pictures at Irabu Bridge.

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Cape Hirakubozaki and Ishigaki Yaima Village are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get outdoors at Canyoning & Rappelling Tours and Kondoi Beach. Explore Ishigaki's surroundings by going to Iriomote-jima (Wasurenaishi & Mizuochi Falls). There's still lots to do: stroll through Yonehara Beach, enjoy breathtaking views from Tamatorizaki Observatory, and glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area.

Getting from Miyakojima to Ishigaki by flight takes about an hour. In September in Ishigaki, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 30°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to travel to Shari-cho.

Tourism in Shari-cho, a small town situated on Hokkaido's eastern tip, flourishes mainly because of its immediate proximity to the Shiretoko World Heritage Site.
