In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Get out of town with these interesting Milan side-trips: Aero Club Monte Cornizzolo (in Suello) and Mandello del Lario (Chiesa di San Giorgio & Anything But Work). There's lots more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Sforzesco, stroll the grounds of Monumental Cemetery, and see La Casa Maledetta.
