Geneva, Switzerland to Kyoto is an approximately 18-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. The time zone changes from Central European Time (CET) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually an 8 hour difference. Step off the beaten path and head to Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Mt Shosha hiking. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Himeji Castle and Old Shizutani School.
