Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Miyakojima is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone changes from Malaysia Time (MYT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 1 hour difference.
