Begur is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Empordà in Catalonia, Spain, on the coastline of the Costa Brava.Begur has 3,986 inhabitants (according to the census of 2005). Relax by the water at Playas de Calella and La Fosca Beach. Get outdoors at La Fageda d'en Jorda and Playa Sa Riera. Get out of town with these interesting Begur side-trips: Girona (Girona Cathedral (Catedral) & Patronat Call de Girona).
