Noboribetsu

Perhaps the island's best-known hot spring resort, Noboribetsu has a long history of tourism.
Take a break from Noboribetsu with a short trip to Showashinzan in Sobetsu-cho, about 40 minutes away. There's much more to do: explore the striking landscape at Jigokudani, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, take in the natural beauty of Oyunuma, and get in on the family fun at Noboribetsu Date Historic Village.

Sapporo

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.

The northernmost city in the country, Wakkanai experiences constant exposure to the elements, with windy and snow-covered winters perhaps its main claim to fame on a national level.
On the 22nd (Sun), don't miss a visit to Cape Noshappu and then make a trip to Wakkanai Port Kita Bohatei Dome. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get outside with Soya Hill Periglacial Landforms, then make a trip to Soya Misaki, and then appreciate the history behind Nihon Saihokutan no Chi Monument.
