Start off your visit on the 31st (Tue): don't miss a visit to Shinjuku Golden Gai. On the 1st (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get a sense of history and politics at Imperial Palace, wander the streets of Yokohama Chinatown, then admire the masterpieces at National Museum of Western Art, and finally wander the streets of Ueno District.
