Goiania, Brazil to Kyoto is an approximately 36-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Brasilia Time (BRT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 12 hour difference. Traveling from Goiania in December, expect Kyoto to be cooler, temps between 13°C and 4°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Sat) so you can take a train to Nara.
