Tel Aviv, Israel to Hiroshima is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Tel Aviv to Hiroshima. Traveling from Tel Aviv in September, expect Hiroshima to be a bit cooler, temps between 32°C and 24°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Himeji.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Tue): steep yourself in history at Nishi no Maru, admire the natural beauty at Kokoen Garden, then contemplate the long history of Himeji Castle, and finally contemplate the long history of Yoneda Taishiji Temple.

You can take a train from Hiroshima to Himeji in an hour. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. September in Himeji sees daily highs of 31°C and lows of 26°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Tue) so you can take a train to Kyoto.
