Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Odaiba District and Senso-ji Temple. Head to Ginza and Asakusafor plenty of shopping. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tokyo: Maihama (Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea). Formed by the gradual merging of several old fishing villages, today the island town of Motobu-cho boasts paradisal beaches of white sand, clear waters, and a rich array of wildlife.
Relax by the water at Okuma Beach and Emerald Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Minna Beach and Kariyushi Beach. Go for a jaunt from Motobu-cho to Onna-son to see Manza Beach about 1h 5 min away.
