Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Cape Hirakubozaki and Yurateiku Market. Escape the urban bustle at Kondoi Beach and Yonehara Beach. And it doesn't end there: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, enjoy breathtaking views from Tamatorizaki Observatory, and walk around Kabira Park.

Milan, Italy to Ishigaki is an approximately 18.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 8 hours traveling from Milan to Ishigaki. Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Mon): head off the coast to Iriomote Island and then scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour. Keep things going the next day: paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour and then kick back and relax at Ida no Hama Beach.

Traveling by ferry from Ishigaki to Iriomote-jima takes an hour. In November in Iriomote-jima, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 25°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Tue) so you can catch the ferry to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Visiting Sunayama Beach and Toguchi no Hama will get you outdoors. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Aragusuku Beach and Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse. The adventure continues: step off the mainland to explore Shimojiiima Island, stroll through Yonaha Maehama Beach, snap pictures at Ikema Ohashi Bridge, and make a trip to East Henna Cape.

Traveling by ferry from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima takes 4 hours. In November, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Onna-son.

Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Shop till you drop at AEONMALL OKINAWA RYCOM and Onna Station Nakayukui Market. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Scuba & Snorkeling and Sefa-Utaki. Explore Onna-son's surroundings by going to Katsuren Castle Ruins (in Uruma), Okinawa Peace Memorial Park (in Itoman) and Okinawa Memorial Park Ocean Expo Park (in Motobu-cho). There's more to do: steep yourself in history at Nakijin Castle Ruins and enjoy breathtaking views from Kouri Ocean Tower.

You can do a combination of flight and bus from Miyakojima to Onna-son in 3.5 hours. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Onna-son when traveling from Miyakojima in November, with lows around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Mon) to allow time to travel to Yakushima-cho.

While traveling from Hiroshima, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Takayama, ranging from highs of 9°C to lows of 3°C. You will leave for home on the 14th (Sat).
