One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.
Step out of Athens to go to Mycenae and see Archaeological Site Mycenae, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's lots more to do: delve into the distant past at Acropolis of Athens, appreciate the history behind Temple of Olympian Zeus, take a stroll through Plaka, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Lycabettus.

Hyderabad, India to Athens is an approximately 15-hour flight. You'll gain 3 hours traveling from Hyderabad to Athens due to the time zone difference. When traveling from Hyderabad in December, plan for much colder days and slightly colder nights in Athens: temperatures range from 17°C by day to 9°C at night.
