Located off of the Great Western Highway, Katoomba is the main hub of the City of Blue Mountains.
When in Katoomba, make a side trip to see Jenolan Caves in Jenolan Caves, approximately 1h 15 min away. The adventure continues: take in the dramatic scenery at Wentworth Falls, scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour, stroll through Prince Henry Cliff Walk, and get to know the fascinating history of The National Pass.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
