Situated below sea level, the city of Turpan boasts a rich history as an ancient trade center, and its dramatic climate brings cold, harsh winters and boiling hot summers.
On the 27th (Mon), take in the dramatic natural features at Huoyan Mountain, then explore the ancient world of Ancient City of Jiaohe (Yarkhoto), and then examine the collection at Turpan Museum.
