The capital of Wales, Cardiff is a very green city indeed, boasting more green space per person than any other place in the country.
Popular historic sites such as Big Pit National Coal Museum and Cardiff Castle are in your itinerary. Step out of the city life by going to Rhossili Bay and Gower Peninsula. Venture out of the city with trips to Tintern Abbey (in Tintern), Mathern Mill (in Chepstow) and Raglan Castle (in Raglan). There's still lots to do: step into the grandiose world of Caerphilly Castle, take in the waterfront at Cardiff Bay Wales, make a trip to St Martin's Church, and see the interesting displays at St Fagans National Museum of History.

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Visiting Camusdarach Beach and Morar Beach will get you outdoors. Popular historic sites such as Fort Augustus Abbey and Glenfinnan Monument are in your itinerary. Explore Fort William's surroundings by going to Glenfinnan Viaduct (in Glenfinnan) and Highland Titles Nature Reserve (in Duror). Next up on the itinerary: appreciate the views at Glen Coe, make a trip to Neptune's Staircase, pause for some photo ops at Peace Memorial, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ben Nevis.

Durness is a village and civil parish in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. Visit Ardvreck Castle and Dun Dornaigil Broch for their historical value. Escape the urban bustle at Sandwood Bay Beach and Sango Bay. Step out of Durness to go to Lochinver and see Achmelvich Beach, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's still lots to do: stroll through Durness Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Balnakeil Beach, explore the striking landscape at Cape Wrath, and take in the exciting artwork at Lotte Glob.
